Kenya Kwanza leaders have continued to urge their supporters a grace period for themselves and the president in delivery of campaign promises.
Speaking during the burial of Mr Muhia, a relative of Senator Methu in Kinangop, the leaders told mourners that the president and his team were working day and night
to get Kenya back on track.
Women Rep Faith Gitau said that as leaders they were well aware of the plight of Kenyans caused by the high cost of living adding that it was a matter of time before Kenyans enjoyed the fruits of the current struggle.
Senator Methu in his part assured locals that the president has put in place sound economic recovery measures that will soon yield positive results for all Kenyans noting that the President was dealing with economic issues which he had little control over.
Kipipiri MP Wanjiku Muhia said that even as they waited for the President's campaign promises, other leaders should get busy with fulfilling their own promises.
Muhia went on to urge the contractor doing the Ndunyu Njeru road to adapt to the fact that Nyandarua is a rainy county throughout the year and hence plan appropriately on how to get the road done inspite of the rains.
