Governor Kawira Mwangaza, ‘I’m ready to go back to the ballot!’
Meru governor H.E Kawira Mwangaza has said that she is ready and willing to go back to seek her mandate afresh amid the squabbles in Meru County government.
Kawira said she supports the move by county residents collecting signatures to have the county assembly dissolved.
Speaking on Thursday morning, Kawira said that
she has had to work under extremely difficult circumstances the past one year she has been in office.
Despite this, she said, she had emerged as one of the best performing governors and had achieved a remarkable 72% absorption of the development budget.
She accused the members of County assembly for harassing her and working to sabotage and derail her efforts to bring development in Meru.

I think Governor Kawira Mwangaza deserves more time. One year is too short to expect any meaningful development
