Siaya governor and one of the fiercest critics of the Kenya kwanza administration is currently accompanying president William Ruto in his state visit to India.
The president is making his inaugural trip to India as president with a highly powered government delegation seeking to deepen ties between the two countries.
The two
countries has a shared history spanning more than a 100 years when Indians were brought into the country to build the first railway line in the then British protectorate.
It is however the advancement of India’s medical sector that has seen many Kenyans become medical tourists in India.
Having launched the microbiology lab last week, the head of state indicated that he would seek to bring growth and unlock Kenya’s potential and strategic advantages through developing the local pharmaceuticals manufacturing capacity.
