New law to make impeachment of governors difficult.

Kiambu Senator Hon Karungo Thang’wa has proposed a new law to shield governors.

The new law seeks to raise the threshold of impeaching governors.

This comes days after senate voted against a second impeachment motion of Meru governor H.E Kawira Mwangaza.

The senate while throwing out the impeachment motion last week stated that
