In a statement sent out to newsrooms, the deputy president has stated that number of Elnino affected counties has since risen to 33 up from 19.
The most severely affected counties include Mombasa, Garissa, Tana River, Makueni, Marsabit, Kilifi, Kwale, Meru, Isiolo, Turkana, Samburu, Wajir, Homabay and Busia.
