Rigathi Farouk dismiss UDA - Ford Kenya fallout rumors.
Speaking in Mt Elgon during an interdenominational service, the deputy president and president's personal assistant told congregants that the allegations that Ford-Kenya was under pressure to fold and join UDA were unfounded and a desperate attempt to cause confusion.
Farouk told the leaders present to focus on development and refuse to
be drawn into the unhelpful debates as both parties are part of the Kenya Kwanza coalition.
In his part, the deputy president said that Ford-Kenya and UDA will continue working together as individual parties for they have shared ideals and there was no need to try change what is already working.
The second in command also impressed on the UDA party leadership and membership to accord National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula utmost respect even as they continue growing the two parties separately.
