ICT CS Eliud Owalo on Saturday kept to his promise to kogallo handing over a modern bus to ease their transport.
Gor Mahia, arguably Kenya's biggest and most successful club, has been going through turbulent economic times that saw them lose their bus to auction after a former player successfully sued
them.
To caution such an occurrence in future, CS Owalo revealed that the bus would be held in trust by the Eliud Owalo foundation.
During the colorful event at Kasarani stadium, Owalo announced that very soon Gor would have a club house and thereafter a stadium of their own.
The bus has been customized to give players a comfy time during their movement across the country for their matches.
It was not however all rosy after newly promoted Murang'a SEAL FC denied Kogallo a win in the sportpesa derby at the same venue leading to aggression from some of the green army's fans.
The heavy involvement of Eliud Owalo in the affairs of Gor has however rubbed a section of people in the club wrongly. They have accused the cabinet secretary of trying to score politically and stage an onslaught against the club's patron, former prime minister Raila Odinga.
