Residents are now calling on KeRRA to regularly clear the bushes along the road to reduce number of accidents along the road.

The road was recently used as an escape route for Wells Fargo staff who disappeared with Sh94 million after dumping the company vehicle in South C, Nairobi.

A cash box used in transporting the stolen money was recovered in the Oloolua forest. Detectives believe that the forest was the meet up point for the suspects, where the loot was shared before each one of them risked his way from the long arm of the law.

In 2022 a politician was robbed along the road when thugs in a motorbike blocked him.
