Speaking in Kirinyaga county after launching a road project on Saturday, the president announced that the price of fuel will start going down.
The head of state explained to the locals who had turned up in their numbers that oil prices had risen globally but had started to drop recently.
The president
said the fact that in the lastest review by EPRA super petrol prices didn't change while diesel and kerosene prices reduced by 2 shillings per litre was the clearest indicator of better days ahead.
The president urged Kenyans to support the measures that the government is putting in place to revive the economy and soon enough Kenyans will appreciate and enjoy the fruits of the hard decisions that his government has had to make.
