Time Magazine has honored President Dr William Ruto for his efforts in combating climate change.
The president was featured in the Times Magazine top 100 influential leaders driving business through climate Action.
The head of state has since ascending to the apex office undertaken measures and policy reforms to accelerate Kenya's climate
change mitigation programs.
The recently held Africa climate summit being one of the highlights of his efforts to have Africa chart their own way ahead of COP28 in Dubai later this month.
This past week also saw Kenyans plant a surplus of 150 million trees in the first ever tree planting public holiday which the head of state spearheaded.
