Education CS Ezekiel Machogu has announced that the government is in the process of undertaking a nationwide recruitment exercise that will see 2000 new instructors employed.
Machogu said the new instructors will be distributed across the 238 TVETs in the country on a need basis.
This, Machogu added, was in line with
the Kenya Kwanza manifesto to improve the teacher student ratio for better delivery.
The government has in the past one year also employed 56,300 new teachers spread across the country for both primary and secondary schools to cater for the CBC transition and improve on the teacher student ratio.
