The Lawyer is a Former student of the school and set a record, yet to be broken of 79 points A- in 1999. 
He was a fisherman before a becoming a lawyer and setting another record as the youngest student to obtain a law masters degree. 
Understanding the history and the problems that the students of his Alma Mater, he brought Homabay county to a standstill by bringing the William Ruto Government to his former school to help him achieve his dream of uplifting and equipping the students and the school with Top Notch facilities for better education and better learning. 
Present for the event were PS Interior, Dr. Raymond Omollo, PSs Alex Wachira (Energy), Betsy Njagi (Blue Economy & Fisheries), Eng. Joseph Mbugua (Roads), Prof. Julius Bitok Immigration & Citizen Services), Hon Memusi Kanchori (Kajiado Central), Reuben Kiborek (Mogotio), Robert Basil (Yatta), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), CAS Hon Ken Obura and Dennis Itumbi among other senior government officials, elected and regional leaders.
