Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on Saturday for the first time commented on the thinly veiled attacks at President William Ruto by EFF leader Julius Malema.
In a fiery speech at Lukenya University during the launch of the Pan-African institute, Malema called out President Ruto accusing him of betraying those who elected
him.
Malema went ahead to claim that president Ruto had changed from who he was during the campaigns last year.
Malema was critical for the President's action of welcoming the British monarch King Charles III recently and Kenya's decision to stand by Israel.
During his address while gracing the 8th anniversary celebrations of the ACK Malindi diocese, DP Gachagua hit back at Malema telling him to keep off Kenya's affairs.
The DP went on to state that Malema went overboard.
The second in command took issue with Malema saying that he was in South Africa sometimes ago and the country had a 7 hour daily electricity ration but he didn't go about disparaging the government of South Africa.
Malema's speech had received a wide berth from government officials prior to the deputy president’s remarks.
