The chief registrar of the judiciary Ms Ann Amadi marked proceeded for her terminal leave yesterday after serving in the role for the past 10 years.
Amadi was appointed in January 2014 to replace the Uasin Gishu women Rep Gladys Shollei.
Speaking on Friday at the launch of the STAJ blueprint and
Presentation of the State of the Judiciary and the Administration of Justice Annual Report, Amadi said that she was honored to be leaving the judiciary a better place than she found it 10 years ago.
She took pride in the increase in the number of magistrates and judges of the superior courts, the increased presence of the judiciary across the country, the digitization of the judiciary operations and service delivery and the increase in revenues.
"I leave a Judiciary that has strengthened its structures, enhancing its resource portfolio, and modernizing its culture" she signed off.
